Our eLearning programme is web based and is available to access anywhere, anytime on a variety of different devices. The modules have been designed and developed internally to meet business needs.
They cover key topic areas, such as safety and the environment to support knowledge and raise awareness.

Leadership and Management Development
We have several approaches to Leadership and Management Development, including:
- A modular 12 month programme of classroom sessions with mentoring and coaching
- 360° feedback activities
- A variety of one-day management modules
- A commitment to training and developing people to achieve business goals and service delivery
- Regular review of the training and development needs of all employees
- Taking relevant actions to meet those needs, from recruitment and throughout employment
- Evaluating the results and providing feedback for the company on training and development as a basis for continuous improvement
Personal growth is part of our commitment to training and development under the IiP framework.

Vocational Training Programmes
Providing qualifications to direct and supply chain employees
Vocational Training Programmes
Our vocational training programmes have provided qualifications to direct and supply chain employees since 2000. They span a range from chartership programmes, further education, and role specific educational training to ILM qualifications and internal training courses. They include:
NVQ’s
National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ’s) – work assessed awards through training and assessment – are derived from National Occupational Standards that specify competence requirements for all job roles at all levels.
VRQ’s
Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs) – work-related qualifications focus on practical skills and assessment. They provide the theoretical knowledge behind a chosen occupation and are a nationally recognised qualification.
Industry Card Schemes
In conjunction with our Health and Safety Department we welcome full participation from all our employees to be qualified over and above the industry standards.

Technical Training Programmes
Offering external and commercial courses and seminars
Technical Training Programmes
Technological changes within the industry are occurring all the time therefore it is crucial that our employees are equipped to take on these changes. External and commercial courses and seminars will continue to be offered, however there will be an increasing use of internal expertise.
